The role of the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Civils & Groundworks will involve:
* Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range groundworks for the modular building market sector
* Reviewing tender enquiries and collating more information from client where required
* Producing BOQs and tender packages
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices
* Assist in the preparation and issue of subcontract documentation, enquiries and negotiations
* Attending pre & post contract meetings with clients
* Cost management for project/section of works
* Value/change management for scope of works
* Submission of applications and variations
* Project sizes can vary from £50,000 to £1,500,000
The ideal applicant will be Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Civils & Groundworks with:
* Must have 3+ years quantity surveying or estimating experience dealing with groundworks, reinforcement, drainage, foundations, civil engineering or modular construction
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Full UK driving license
* Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ambitious with a desire to succeed and grow with the company
* Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
