Job Description

Our Bridges and Structures team in the Greater Montreal area is looking for a structural engineer to work on various large-scale projects in the metropolitan area, such as the construction of Autoroute 50, Autoroute 15, the structures for the Metropolitan Expressway (REM) and the rehabilitation of Autoroute Métropolitaine (40). You’ll have the opportunity to meet stimulating technical challenges, participate in training courses and benefit from the support of our team, recognized across Canada for its achievements in bridge structures.

 

We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices in Montreal, Laval or Longueuil.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Play an active role in the design, detailed engineering and management of civil engineering projects
  • Conduct studies and write technical reports
  • Carry out structural inspection and assessment work
  • Determine construction costs
  • Provide technical assistance during construction work

 

Qualifications

  • University degree and master’s degree in civil engineering, with specialization in structures, or recognized equivalent
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in structural design of bridges and engineering structures
  • Member or eligible for membership of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Experience or keen interest in bridges, tunnels, civil engineering or dams
  • Strong interest in teamwork and collaboration
  • Knowledge of bridge design standards (CSA-S6) and MTQ standards (an asset)
  • Completed MTQ training courses (an asset)
  • Proficiency of the French language (oral and written)
