About the Company

Our client is a leading fit-out contractor in London, delivering commercial projects. With a reputation for quality and efficiency, they are looking for a Document Controller to join their team and ensure the smooth management of project documentation.

The Role

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing all project-related documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained, and supporting the project team with document control processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain project documentation using document control systems (such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or Asite).

* Ensure all documents are correctly numbered, logged, and distributed.

* Maintain up-to-date records of all project documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

* Liaise with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure document control procedures are followed.

* Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation for handover and compliance purposes.

* Monitor document revisions and approvals to ensure version control.

* Provide administrative support related to document management.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Document Controller within the fit-out or construction industry.

* Proficiency in document management systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar platforms.

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.

* Knowledge of construction documentation standards and compliance requirements is advantageous
