Geotechnical Engineer (On-site or Remote BC)

Are you a Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) looking to take on diverse and impactful projects? We are seeking a skilled professional to join a dynamic multidisciplinary engineering team delivering geotechnical assessments, foundation recommendations, and material testing for a variety of clients across Western Canada. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a competitive compensation package and exposure to a wide range of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical assessments, including borehole investigations and soil analysis.

• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including borehole logs and foundation recommendations.

• Oversee material testing processes, including concrete testing and quality assurance.

• Provide recommendations and reports for infrastructure projects, analyzing building settlement, slope stability, retaining walls, and foundations.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on municipal, industrial, and commercial projects.

• Assist in project management tasks, including contract documentation, tender evaluations, and scheduling.

• Perform occasional field investigations and geotechnical site visits.

• Oversee small teams (1-2 people) in fieldwork and analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia.

• Experience in geotechnical assessments, foundation design, and material testing.

• Proficiency in data analysis software.

• Strong technical writing and report development skills.

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing.
