Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Lighting Designer to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a maximum of 6 years of work experience. As a Lighting Designer, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative lighting solutions for office spaces and commercial interiors. Your expertise will help enhance our service offerings in the field of lighting design and integration.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in Office Spaces or Commercial Interior Lighting Design (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, used for producing detailed lighting design plans and layouts.
• Experience with Revit for creating detailed 3D lighting models and visualizations to support design concepts.
• Familiarity with Dialux for lighting calculations, simulations, and analysis of light exposure in different settings.
• LEED Certification is required to apply sustainable practices in lighting design projects.
• Strong understanding of Lighting Design Development, including concept creation and implementation strategies.
• Project Management skills to oversee and coordinate lighting design projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of IoT-enabled lighting technology to create advanced, interconnected lighting solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and design innovative lighting solutions for commercial and office spaces, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand the lighting requirements and develop appropriate designs.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux to create, present, and modify lighting plans and models efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and sustainability guidelines, including LEED, in all lighting designs.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in lighting technology, incorporating IoT-enabled solutions.
• Conduct site visits and evaluations to ensure the appropriateness and feasibility of proposed lighting solutions.
• Prepare detailed project documentation and reports to communicate project progress to stakeholders.
