Where will you be working?

Dyer & Butler

The team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

Defence and adjacent markets- We manage reactive and planned maintenance and upgrades on defence properties, airfields, military bases, ports, railway infrastructure and depots.

This role is a site-based role, in Dover.

This role offers you the opportunity to join a four-year framework, with the opportunity to lead and manage complex civil engineering projects within the Defence and Strategic markets, from initiation through to completion.

What will you be doing?

• You will be ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements, particularly those specific to Defence and Strategic sectors.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring?

• Experience manging commercial change control, preparation of monthly applications and the preparation and issuing of sub-contract orders.
• Experience working on NEC contracts
• Excellent relationship building experience with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• A full Driving Licence
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying
