They operate in 7 continents, have over 87,000 employees, and are in 150+ countries and turnover in excess of $17.4Billion per annum.They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in remote location.Duties & Responsibilities: - To manage post-contract commercial activities related to Architectural, civil, structural & FF&E with minimum supervision on a high profile project and reporting directly to a Senior Commercial Manager.
- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
- Measure and value the work done on site
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
Qualification & Requirements:- Comprehensive 8-10 years of technical experience across all trades and extensive experience in weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
- Use of Aconex, Oracle and Cost X IT Platforms an advantage.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
